When I was younger, my aunt worked at a beauty counter and as an esthetician. She would always tell me the key to her looking young was using SPF.

Skip to today, she is approaching 60 and still looks like she’s 40!! I am so happy I listened to her advice to use moisturizers with SPF.

I’ve been using Dermalogica Prisma Protect for FIVE years now!! It’s my go-to moisturizer most days and I run through tubes like crazy.

It’s perfect under makeup and never makes me look oily which can be a problem with some SPF products esp. if you use them with make up. 

Pro tip: Although it works amazing, I usually mix it with another SPF when I know I’m going outdoors because my skin is so fair. 

2. Philosophy Renewed Hope in a jar with SPF 30

I began using Philosophy Renewed Hope in a jar about 7 years ago. At the time, having SPF in beauty products wasn’t as popular as it was today and it was the best one on the market. 

I love how rich and creamy this moisturizer is and I think it makes a great base for make up too! 

3. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Sunscreen SPF 50

I have been using the Glow Recipe Sunscreen with my moisturizer for about a two years now and it’s been life saving!! And to be honest, sometimes I just use it as moisturizer without mixing it. 

A few months back I went on a hike. It was raining so I didn’t think the sun would come out at all. BIG MISTAKE! Not only did the sun come out, I got third degree burns on my chest and arms.

Which goes to show again, you should always wear SPF no matter what the weather. Luckily, as you can see from the photo, my face and neck didn’t get burned at all thanks to the Glow Recipe SPF. I HIGHLY recommend it!! 

As I mentioned before, it’s technically an SPF, however I think the formula allows it to blend nicely as a layer of skin care whether you’re wearing makeup or not.

I have been using Paula’s Choice products since I was a teen. After struggling with acne in my teen years, a doctor recommended Paula’s Choice and it completely changed my skin.

5. Replenix Oil-Free Tinted Face Sunscreen SPF 50+ 

I just started newly using the Replenix Oil-Free Tinted Face Sunscreen SPF and I like it thus far!

So far I haven’t gotten any sunburns wearing it for long periods of time and it lasts throughout the day. 

It does say tinted, but the “tint” is a yellow and blends well so you shouldn’t have a problem no matter what your skin tone is. 

6. Kinship Self Reflect Sport SPF 60 – Triple Ceramide Face Moisturizer with SPF

I just recently discovered Kinship this year however I LOVE the range of SPF products that they have. And I love that they have multiple SPF moisturizers to pick from.

7. EltaMD UV Daily SPF 40 Sunscreen Moisturizer Face Lotion
